Hi Clawback,

Nice site.

I don't like the repeating background images, but i do like the flash, pearly gates. Perhaps you could have this as a mean feature of the site, guiding the user to different parts. There's seems to be just that bit too much info 'dumped' on homepage.

Difficult subject, approached well. Why don't you do affiliate link to NASA. Remember reading about how you can get your dna jettisoned into space to the stars from whence we all came from. Could be a huge revenue earner. This dna is hair or even ashes from a crematorium. Perhaps the aliens will pick up on this and rebuild your physical form

)

Good effort besides.

ps. images took a while to load, although i have a temperamental 8Mb connection.

to be honest i don't think you should ask for a review.
no matter how good your site is the lovely people of this forum will just critisize.

The site is pretty nice, the graphics are nice and it's a nice idea for a site

I think the background is a bit too busy and overpowers the rest of your content. I would suggest making it lighter, maybe make the tiled image smaller and more unobtrusive so your visitors focus on the real content of your site.

The text on the home is centered, the readability suffers somewhat, I'd left-align it as any normal paragraph would be.

You've got a lot of validation errors in your code, you might want to address that. A lot of them stem from the numbers used for DIV Id's.. "div id="803" etc.

I'm not a fan of tables, but this looks like a blog-type template so probably not much you can do with that.

i don't mind people saying "the text could be a little bigger" or "that colour doesn't go"
but when people actually criticize everything about your site, the name, colours, text, etc. it doesn't exactly make you feel great.

Like i said before, i think your site looks great, maybe make the background a little less distracting like ladynred said.

The background definitely clashes with the template colors; I'd get rid of that and find a solid color ... grrrrr; I don't see why you used so many gawd-awful tables, when you can do a table-less design with CSS.

I think is a really nice idea for a site.

And I have to say - you haven't done a bad job of designing it either. It has it's minor flaws like the majority of sites do, but overall a nice design.

Please don't pay any attention to this - I have found that all of the people on this forum (other than a couple of users who never even made it past their first 10 posts) are part of a fantastic community, and I don't believe that any of them would say something about your website without good intentions.

All of the more negative comments about peoples websites are said in the form of constructive criticism. We are all here to learn more and better ourselves in the field of web design, and what better way to do it than to receive input from already-experienced webmasters?

Pixelxs - I know you weren't really having a go at anyone, but I think it was a bit of a daft thing to say. I find this area of the forum to be extremely useful for bettering my sites.

i think your site is okay, i would suggest changing the colours a bit the back ground definatly too dark and distracting.

the background image color and the header image color doesn't synchronize; you may adjust the background color to be blended with header

Honest? Please ditch the background! What is this 1995? The interactive thing is cool though. That overall layout and design would benefit greatly from a different background, perhaps just a solid background or gradient since the design and layout is good. Just cut that bg image please.
