What do you think of this site, it started as just somthing to do while I was layed up in bed after crashing my motorbike, and has now developed in to a bit of a portfolio site. I have put two diffrent designs up so far and I'm adding more all of the time.

Tell me what you think so far, be as brutal as is needed.

Cheers

Simon

Can I be the first to say that you must have been very busy while laid up in bed.

Personally I think good start ! Great fun content and the black and white site especially is a great concept.

You can see the devlopment in this site from start to finish.

Keep it up !

It looks pretty good accept the side scrolling in 800x600 res and I found it a little slow to load.I was in the html section. The back button from your fun page is not working. Why don't you try putting the same navigation links on the left hand side of every page so your able to go to any page from any page. Beside all that you seem to be on the right track good luck with it.

Hi

The reason there is no links on each page on my html site is that it is a spider design, an idea i picked up in a book. I know its diffrent but its one of many layouts I'm trying.

Thanks for letting me know about the link not working.

Nice looking site, the artwork is great. Some of the links don't work and due to the lack of any text search engines won't like you but I really like it.

nice start ... try some alt tags on your images that will help explain your pics on the mouseover ... you should take your pictures back into your graphics program and resize them preserving the aspect ratio to get rid of the distortion ... then you can crop them to the size you need if they aren't all the same dimension ...
the navigation is problematic ... I understand the concept .. but at least some small text links at the bottom of the pages to move to other sections ... or next and previous buttons to take people through the site in the order intended would be nice ... you can lose that contents page unless you expand the site greatly ... the images on your home page serve that purpose nicely

I think the splash page is great! Really cool. The rest of the site is not up to the same design standard, but that doesn't really matter as it is a personal web site. Good job on it, and get well soon!

ps. I put my pin on your guestmap! I might get one of those for my site - they're dead cool!

Hi

The front splash screen is the last page I did, It was to combine the two sites. I have been experimenting more and more over the past few weeks and I intend to put a few more diffrent desings on.

<ADMIN EDIT: some concerns have been brought up about your "pin" system. Members, do NOT enter one while we investigate this>
