I agree that there's too much going on in the design. Most often people come to photo upload sites just to quickly do their thing, grab their codes, and move on. I'd suggest cutting down the design and simplifying the submission process.

Your site is nicely designed apart form the actually main part of the site and the advertisement and the most recently submitted seems to be in a box that looks to much in your face and does suite the rest of the site.
Other than that, good work and keep it up and also I hope it succeeds for you.
It's good a good base for a start, but your buttons in the header don't quite fit the style of the rest of the site. I would take them out of that blue bar they are in and consider reworking them to be less... roundy.
I like it. I have been using uploadfx.com recently. Its the same idea.
Your site works great too I tried it. If I could change anything it would be the url. Not too easy to memorize. Thats why I use uploadfx because it sticks in mind always. Something short and catchy. like uploadnow.com or something. I dont even now if thats taken though. But good luck.

I like it quite a bit. However, I would consider making titles a bit more specific. For instance "View List" doens't really tell what's behind that link. I would also line up pictures, to that their tops are aligned.
