I know it's been looked at by several members, but I couldn't resist. I love doing better than average sites and I just got my website template worked out.
Initial Opinion
The theme is very attractive and the concept is easily obtained. I really like the simple look and the easy navigation. After clicking around i found a blog, and it was pretty hard to find the link back to the main page, but I managed.
Design-wise
This is a really nice design. It's colorful and even though it has a white background, it doesn't sting your eyes. Any site designer that can pull of a white background has got some experience on them. (White overpowers and strains the eyes, so you have to offset it correctly.) Nothing feels cluttered and nothing feels like it's floating. You get the feeling of the website just "doing it's own thing" and rolling smoothly. Nice job. I can't think of anything to suggest except that you might want the navigation on the blog more visible. Maybe stretch the header across.
Content-Wise
There is already a good share of users apparently from the uploaded videos. None of them seem to be illicit, so the content control is good for a video/picture upload site. The videos seem to run smoothly after they kick-start, but then they start to skip a lot. You're going to want to get a better server when the time comes, if you expect a lot of people to use your service. Smoothness and accessibility is a must with these types of sites.
Services
There are a lot of services for media upload right now, but yours is pretty up to speed. The tagging and groups, etc. They're nice features and ones that the people will come for. I would suggest maybe adding something other services don't have. You have a youtube thing going on, so why not a video contest? Etc. Things that just make the site more fun to be a part of.
Overall
I'm loving the colorful theme. The service is what you would expect it to be,and pretty up to standard. I would stress again just getting those videos running smoother, and maybe customizing the experience more for members. Not a hall of famer, the video skipping brought you down, but definitely up there. Very nice job.
