I just made a link directory and i was in need of a good banner, i wan planning to buy a banner but then i come up with an idea and did it on photoshop.
Now i want to know that is this good or Not
Please tell me I really need to know

*** yawn *** ... sorry, but I have to tell you it's a very boring banner and you shouldn't call it a "Blog" -- it's a "Directory" ... learn more and know the difference!

the banner is good enough for its purpose it think. Its only small and wont get much attention anyway, no need to buy one.

What i would change about it is how you have a grey gradient on the left hand side. I would remove rhis and leave the background completely white so it merges in with the page instead of looking like you've just slapped it on.
