the goal of my website is to have a simple directory of bars, clubs, and tattoo shops in Southern California. Please let me know if the site is easy to navigate and understand. Oh yea, I just started the jobs section today 4-15-07 so it is yet to evolve.

I was expecting the site to be orange. Oh well.

Anyway, i think the listings need some space between them, its pretty hard to understand when they are all crushed up together.

The Only other thing i can suggest is to make the links different and in a contrasting colour to make them stand out better.

One suggestion: the text on the header is anti-aliased but it doesn't look that well. The site seems pretty interesting though, I'll take a deeper look around.

The header should be orange and need to be anti-aliased as the previous poster suggested.

The Calendar of events should probably list the next couple of days and then a link to see the entire calendar. Also could you make it a calendar? It's a lot of scrolling.

Audio. Don't make the audio automatically start and place it more towards the top.

Other than that it looks good.

I was expecting the site to be orange as well, but I like the clean look.

Hi Lobo,

I'm living in orange county right now (UCI). The site looks pretty nice, but you have a lot of content squeezed into a pretty narrow table, at least on the main page. Maybe you should consider some sort of script to implement the calandar instead of just listing all of the shows. List the important ones and then find a calandar script on hotscripts.com or something. Maybe also consider moving your media player to the header. Other than that I think you're off the a great start.

I agree, you have to space the listings or underline it/box it.
