Hello,

Just launched this new Webmaster Forum about a couple of months ago.
It is using vBulletin but I have designed a custom skin to make the forum unique.

What do you think about the skin, the layout of the site, and my choice of colors?
Any suggestions and critique are welcomed.

I don't quite like the color theme, it reminds me of a gardening forum to tell you the truth. The header image doesn't much help either.

Why don't you create a web site with real content and navigation, and put a discussion forum as a part of the site? That way you could really get unique content and build a good community, with only a forum it's very difficult to do. Especially when there already are a lot of good forums on the subject.

I really liked the site. I thought it looked good. I mean, for a skin, there's only so much you can do, but I think you customized it well.

I think Jouni's got a good point about content. Content is king and it will definitely help the site. But you should be able to build your content on the forum through stickies. It might not provide great content for SEO purposes, but it will give people stuff to read and a reason to stay/come back.

Also, your members will hopefully generate a good deal of content for you. I think what Jouni is hitting on is static content. Static content along with the forum would not hurt at all.

Ha ha . Thanks for that feedback.

I am planning on adding more content to it but for that, I would need writers which I can not afford right now.

I agree with the colour theme i dont like it but with the good forums part, everyone has the ability to be the best so keep trying
