Website Review and Suggestions

The cartoon tool is in development, the result may turn out
not what you expect it to be, but it will improve. Under
Artists I'm planning to do link exchange and under How to Draw
there will be an interactive tutorial.

I really think you need some kind of header to let people know what site they're at. Right now there's nothing but your navigation buttons. Some kind of interesting graphic would be very helpful. Maybe the company logo or something...

The nav buttons themselves are fine. The filled most of my wide screen display. I'm not sure you want them to be too wide though. It could cause horizontal scrolling which is the numero uno no-no in web design.

The whole site could use some structure. It would be nice if it didn't just stretch all the way across the screen. A nice CSS file would help to keep everything arranged and looking the way you want it. I would definitely suggest something along those lines.

Honestly, it looks like this was created by a relative novice to web design - no offense intended! I just mean that it doesn't look overly professional or polished. A more professional look will probably get you more sales on the software.

I fully agree with Joe, the site needs a lot of work. But look at the bright side, you have real content, that's quite rare nowdays with all those MFA sites around.

I think you should perhaps think about changing the color theme, yellow is very difficult color to master online. If you are not a professional web designer I would really recommend not using yellow, shades of blue and gray for example are much easier to handle.

I could also help you to polish your copy, but I think you should first improve the way the site looks.

I completely rebuild the site http://www.caricature-software.com based on Joe and jv16 suggestions. Could you look at the new version, please? The art on the top of the page will improve gradually as the program that creates it improve. I'm new to web design, so your comments and suggestions would be really helpful. Thank you to Joe and jv16 for their previous comments.

This new version of the site is much, much better than the old one. Good work.

I think the "logo" in the header could be something a little more interesting than your text in a cursive font, but overall, the site is much easier to use and lays out a whole lot better.

If you like this design, I'd leave it be for now and then come back to it in 60 to 90 days. This will give you time away from it to focus on your software and then you can come back a redesign the site again. I think you'll see that everytime you go back to the site, it'll get better and better.

Really nice turnaround in the site. Good job. (And I'm not just saying that because you listened to my advise! I really do think you've improved the site.)

I don't like the left navigation bar. It looks like it fell there from somewhere else. Maybe some better fonts and clickable images instead ?

Otherwise, it's pretty cool.
