Hi folks,

I would be grateful if anyone would please review the following page:

http://www.webdebproductions.com/chi...me_sample2.htm

I am looking for feedback about specific items:

1. How long the page takes to load, especially with a 56K dial up.
2. Confirmation that the newsletter and calendar content on the right side of the page lines up properly and is displayed properly. (these sections use layers and I want to make sure they display properly across browsers)
3. Please let me know with what browser and browser version you viewed the page. The page uses layers and CSS and I want to make sure it's cross browser compatible with the mainstream browsers at least.
4. I need to add fly out menus to the 3 of the navigation buttons and if anyone has any suggestions for the best kind of image to use for a fly out here, I'd really appreciate it. If you know of other Web sites that use fly out menus with rounded buttons, I would love to see how it's been done. It's kinda hard to come up with a fly out graphic that looks nice with these rounded, long navigation buttons as they are.

Thanks so much!

1) I got cable so it took about 4s
2) Lined up great on both browsers
3) IE 6.0.2 and Netscape 7.1

Looks very professional, conveys the idea of the site elequently. Great job.

I like the home page, but the links on left really don't do it for me! Maybe something rectangular without the embossing!

Hi

I have a broardband wireless conection so it only took a few seconds

I dont like the menu buttons they dont match the drop down menus, which I'm assuming dissapear when you leave the button due the links not working, I would go for text links with a mouse over affect there is enough going on on your page without adding more with starange buttons, if you do want actual buttons then just use a basic shape with a drop shadow.

I would also center the page I think It would sit better. I would also consider changing the page colour so it dosn't match the page to much, if you can find a nice colour it will frame the page and make the edges neater.

I am using Advanced Browser version: 8.02. Everything seems to be in the right place, I am curious why you haven't used a tabel apposed to layers everything seem to be in a postion to be put into a table, it would also be easyer to center and set the size to change with the size of screen?

Hope this helps!

Hello.

Web site - big mess.
We call it OLD FASHION DESIGN.

There is no integrity on a web site, just a lot of pieces of grafic on a page. Web page should have some style, wich will be present on ALL web pages of your web site.

So a lot of work is waiting for u...

Not bad.

1) Could use some better buttons IMO
2) I actually think the layout looks good, but could use some more graphics to keep the reader's attention.

My 2 cents.

I have broadband connection so its loading very fast, approx less than 10 seconds.

Everything is lined up fine and looks good.

I use ie 6.

I hate your menu flyouts with a passion, It would make me leave the site in 3 seconds. They are very hard to use, in fact yours are impossible to use as it dissapears b 4 you can roll over it.

If you really want this type of menu check out http://www.hiermenuscentral.com/ its the best cross compatible menu system I have ever found.

regards
Simon
