Website Review and Suggestions

Remove Google ads, OK looking site add some text to describe your product near the top of your page. Include good meta tags title - desc - keywords. Improve your images - background colour theme takes the emphasis of on page content.

The site looks ok, but the buttons don't integrate withn the site (they look good, but then kinda harshly end in white). The background image might be kind of annoying as well, but it seems to be growing on me.

It just seems to need a little bit of tweaking view wise and it'll be good: consider being consistent with the greens.

Also, the code looks to be a little on the heavy side. Did you do the html/css, or did you use an editor?

Wooohh..the first thing that came across my mind was "oh is so 'godaddy'
I personally feel that jusified text don't suit most websites.it Makes the site looks very"newsletter" maybe you can amend your text style by adding some padding or spacing will be much much better.

there's no unity on your site.

the banner is too huge? color palette seems lost.

bad proportions on headers, banner, etc..

There seems to be a lack of structure, it seems like it is all over the place,

the size of the banner just looks wrong, the google ads dont fit in neatly.

You need to work on a cleaner layout, which is easier to read!

It's a little crowded. I agree with removing or moving the google ads; they don't integrate well with the site, try maybe putting them on the bottom.

I also suggest changing the background in the main table cell. Sometimes a plain white background is best, easier on the eyes. Try changing that, and picking a plain neutral color that fits well for the left navigation frame and I think it will turn it around.

The top banner is also a very unique size, I don't think that's neccesarily the problem but I found it kinda hard to gfigure out what kind of site I was at to begin with. You want your viewers to know exactly where they are the second they arrive at the website.

The page looks okay and well rounded. The Top-left animated graphic could be a little to distracted from the main, central content.

Else only one thing. Thumbs up for your first design.

Your banner doesn't match the rest of the site. There is too much going on in the banner, I think the animation is a bit much. Also, you may want to move your content up and shrink the banner or remove/move the adsense. It sort of takes away from your content. Good start though!

remove adsense; if your advertising a product you dont want your audience to be distracted with other products/sites.
Dont like the background image 'think maths grow smart' thing a white background is all that is needed.
The image links at the top do not match the rest of the site. Is there a header image? - I dont see one.

add a border to the left and right side of your content to seperate it more from the wallpaper. tone down the wallpaper text so its more in the background than the foreground.

Work on the flash animation in the header. It is jerky and distracting. Smooth the tweening. The choreography of math symbols with water drops is not in-synch. Some padding inside the tabs would be nice, the 2-4 tabs look crowded - hard to read. Seems to be on the right track, but not quite there yet.

Annoying flash animation on top, but if it's your first web design, I think it's pretty good, considered.

I agree with other posters: good for your first design.

However, I think there are some flaws with your design:
1) Animation up top is way too much. Try a smaller photo, instead. It makes your page load faster and makes it much more accessible.
2) Ditch those buttons. They look better suited for a more techy/glassy website. You could get away with plain green and white with a different mouseover state.
3) Change the background in the main content section to be a very very very subtle gradient or just pure white.
4) When you add an image to a page, do not just constrain its proportions via HTML (eg, dont take a 1280x1024 image and tell the HTML to display it as 100x100) actually take the time to resize it. Your slower-connection users will thank you!
5) Try to make the "for children", "for parents", and "for teachers" images on the homepage more consistent in size. You may also want to think about adding borders to them so that they stand out better from the background.

Great in terms of a first design though!

This site looks somehow unfinished.There is contrast between the body an the banner - try using blue color to make them blended.
