The middle one looks the best out of the three.
On the First one the gradient on the menu makes my eyes go funny, it looks out of place.
On the last one, the menu seems a little odd and the logo looks way unproffessional for the rest of the site.
Hope this helps. - good luck

I like the first one the best- but my eyes are already a little funny. The last one looks a little like a my space layout so I did not care to much for that one. I did think the middle was good too.
-Cheers

Thanks everyone for your comments so far. I've decided to leave designs 1 & 2 as-is. Design 3 I'm going to rework the logo and the left side nav. I really appreciate all your feedback, helps alot.
They all looked good to me (favorite is #2), but one thing I did notice that I am not sure of whether or not you are aware - if you use "onclick" in an element to change the document.location - instead of an anchor tag with an HREF - you lose the onmouseover cursor change event. AKA the mouse doesn't alert you to the fact that what you are hovering over is a clickable link. This confuses a lot of people.
