Website Review and Suggestions

Hello everyone, I have been quit for the last few weeks. It was because I was finshing my new site http://www.Graphics-Central.com. I hand created a massive PHP engine to run the site, and so far it is working great. I was wondering if I could get some reviews on the site. Also, if you have any content that might fit on the site please submit it. http://www.graphics-central.com/submit.php

The first couple of weeks are going to be hard on this site, I need to find lots of content. If anyone is interested in advertising or link exchanges, please use the contact us forum in the about section.

Also, check out the forums. I am going to build a massive graphics community. So if you would sign up and post a little, I would really appreciate it.

I love it. Despite there's no content, the look is great, the navigation was incredibly simple. The advertising link is broken, you may want to check that out. Very well done. Just needs a bit more material

It's crisp, it's clean.....it's green. I imagine once you have more content the site will be great. But I think there should be more color to the site. Heck, your logo is a paintbrush.

yea allota green there, not neccessary a bad thing, but maybe another colour could be introduced. The site itself is clean, easy to navigate and the professional feel is there....exactly what it needs to be for the purpose. One additional thing i would pick up on however, and its only a small point, is the http://www.graphics-central.com/tutorials/index.php page. The "Download", "Review" and "Rate" buttons dominate the area too much in my opinon, and draws the eye away from the actual tutorial decriptions.

overall i'd say 7/10

I agree with others on the fact that the site is simple, yet may be a little too simple. I am sure that more content and color will help. I would aslo suggest that the headings for the tutorial section be much smaller (maybe 1 or 2 pt bigger that normal), I would let the images say what is going on or introdude a single heading to desribe the section (along with the smaller subheadings). Large HTML text is no attractive.

Overall nice site!

Thanks for the feedback. Everyone said it lacked content, is anyone going to upload content? Yall can help me solve that problem.

Ok, here is my review.

I think that the scrolling text on the header should be static. Instead of scrolling that, just put it there. If someone wants to submit they have to catch that scrolling. There are other links for this, but they are not in the most obvious place.

The green thing has been brought up. That is a lot of green which makes the page look rather dull. Try adding another color to this and see what happens. Maybe like a dark blue.

One thing to take care of is the advertising link. The link is missing. I would like information on advertising, but there was none. Maybe PM me about it.

I apologize, I am really not sure what could make this a better site. It is lacking something, but I cannot put my finger on it. Content is not the issue for me, it is something else. Just be sure to put some meta tag information in it to help with your search engine placement. That will also help with the content uploading issues you have right now.
