Website Review and Suggestions

First of all i'd like to say that this is a very new website and our goal is to get alot of traffic from searching the New upcoming SAW movie. We are #1 on google searchs in a number of catergorys. But we want to Improve.

We would like to see more people stay on our website longer.

We would also like to make our website a little less boring because after all Saw 4 doesn't come out till late October and we need a way to generate traffic untill August when people will be searching it more and more.

Please dont post fake reviews without even looking at the website just to get Posts up.

I'm not sure what to say about this one. First of all the bottom image is pixely. The whole thing looks, not to be rude of course, sloppy. It doesn't flow well. The link to saw2 has a white background making it nearly impossible to see the text, not to mention broken images. The code itself is filled with tables and I have come to find out here, that the trend is fast dissipating. In my opinion, it should be redone.

well the some of our links our not working right, i agree it looks horrible right now but when we get our links stright it will look way better

OK, i think that the background of the google ads should be the exact same colour as the colour of your site so they blend in, your blue menu links you can hardly read, they are totally the wrong colour, i recommend using white with that bg colour, the google ads on the right hand side of the site doesnt look right, i think you should consider relocating them elsewhere.

For right now focus on Home page, the Links to Saw 1, Saw 2 and Saw 3 dont seem to be working, the backround should be the same as the home page and the google ads should be the same color as those on the home page. Not sure why this is happening and were trying to fix this right now..

Is there any way we can make the home page look more professional..

To be honest, I don't think this is very good.

Links are blue and hard to read. Flash animation is annoying. Text saying "The Saw movies were far more popular than anyone ever anticip....." is to small. You should use the same font for all the text.

Thanks for all the feedback, we just got the links back working so check out the links and give some more feedback would be great. We are changing the font color and font size. Could someone tell me more about what exactly a DOCTYPE does?

It violates Googles tos. you are only allowed 3 ad blocks you have atleast 4 that I counted

how do i change link colors it wont let me.

Heres my honest opinion...

Set the max size of your layout at the most to 1224 x 768 i think it is....A LOT of people use this size and itll do away with the scrolling back and fourth...

Get rid of the ad to the right of the flash file...thats just totally out of the way right there...eye sore if you ask me...Put a link unit above the flash file to blend in the space

move the banner under the flash file over a lil bit to center it under the flash file...or put a larger banner..

I also feel the whole color scheme of your ads are wrong, but thats just me and the sort of style i personally like myself..

Do something about your link buttons to, where all the trailers are...Come up with something nice in a design program real quick if you have the skill...if not there are plenty of resource sites out there to search for..

get the Hex code for the color you want...then go to where you posted your code to begin with...replace the colors in there proper spots....its simple

or just go to your google account, adsense setup, adsense for content, and then setup the banner again and replace the code where you originally put it.

I think this site has only one major problem (design-wise this is) and a hell of a lot of little ones. The main problem is crowding. This includes the fact that if your ads were plaed more carefully, then there wouldn't be a horizontal scroll on the site.

To name a few of the smaller problems:

1) The graphics aren't quite smoothe enough
2) The vertical menu could be better with better css (try centering the text and adding a background color (which changes on hover))
3) The header/logo could be a hell of a lot better with a little effort in PhotoShop
4) The text is a little too small.

You may find this surprising but I actually like this site

The reason is that it is actually a nice site once all the little corrections have been made.

My advice - keep working on it until you know that its a great-looking site
