It's funny how a person could be pretty good at photography, but almost completely unable to build a decent looking web design. You would think they're both visual arts, but that's about where the similarity ends.
Anyway, I've been putting a great deal of work into improving the design on my site. It's still pretty far from beautiful, but hopefully an improvement over the old one. And more driven by CSS, so hopefully easier to adjust in the future.
So I was hoping people could give me some advice about whether I'm going in the right direction here, and how I can improve things? Thanks! It's not really the content I need feedback on, but the layout, navigation structure, and that kind of stuff, that I'm just not any good at.
Examples:
Star Trails, Car Camping near Yosemite
Rocky Mountain Sky
Seattle Photos by Night
North Vancouver, British Columbia
It's a photography site, mainly a portfolio I use to impress potential clients, and also to introduce my work to more people, who might know someone who needs a portrait shot in Seattle when they visit, for example. There are also articles and software, mainly to draw traffic to the photos.
