Its a clean design but I don't particularly like the way the containers blend with each other

In other words the Left column, center, right column backgrounds I would change them, or the borders

I really like the Hitler playing the Banjo avatar. That's funny.

I think the header could use a little help. Even if you're working from a template, you should be able to make the header image a little more interesting. Take a shot at improving the header image. Maybe add a couple of your most popular avatars to the header. You should be able to make something that's interesting and descriptive of the site with little to no effort.

My only other suggestion would be to widen it out a little bit. You're kind of tight horizontally. I don't think you have to stay within the 640 px width anymore. I think you can safely expand to 800. The percentage of people smaller than that is so small I wouldn't worry about it.

I think one of the main problems on the site is that there is too much grey and not enought colour. The Biggest markets for avatars are forum junkies and teens, so i think a more graphically detailed header, and a little more colour could attract a lot more visitors to look around.

On a side note, you need to be careful with your content. Before posted some of them avatars online, you need to check the copyright regs behind them, just to make sure your not breaking the law. The reason why i'm saying this is because i can see your have a few with preview on it from sites like jamster who might not be too friendly if they find out.

Maybe in the future you could create your own avatars, because a lot of them that you have on your site have already been around a few years.

Hey nice avatars page. Why not make img holders? Make a gfx with borders to have as img backgrounds abit like ive done on my page. Take a look at the scroll thingie i made low left side. You can make some really img holders with your logo and so on.. could look cool.

Looks abit unaligned in IE6.. looks a hole lot better in firefox.
