Website Review and Suggestions

My new is almost finished, and i need all your feedback about it regarding, layout,design,features most of all if its appealing?
The old site is www.AussiePages.com.au and the new one is www.AussiePages.com.au/directory...
does the new site look more professional and easier to use than the old one?
Please bear in mind that its only 80-90% completed but its pretty much done. The new one is the one ending with /directory.
All feedback welcome.

Clean + Professional looking. I'm not crazy about it but its pretty good, (though there are way to many tables)

I really like the new design. I think it flows a lot nicer than the old one. Excellent work.

My only suggestion would be that the gentleman in the revised graphic looks awkward. In the original graphic we can see his hands and his pose is more understandable. In the new graphic, you can't see his hands. He just looks like his shoulders are positioned awkwardly. Its totally a "feel" issue and you certainly don't HAVE to change it. I just think he'd look more naturally posed if we could see his hands. Maybe even let just his hands break the bottom border of the blue section he's in...

Wow that isn't a bad design at all. I really like it very clean, and the listing is really good places at space.

To be honest, they both look like link farms to me...

The second one is nicer, but they both took a lifetime to load for me. Get rid of the tables. For me the columns are too wide and the background repeats, also the corners are appalling.

Hi

Basically the new design feels better with me, but somehow don't like to be constrained on the left and right by these featured banners, login boxes, etc. This is a search engine, it must give enough space to see the search result........Moreover, in the left column I don't see anything worth placing there except the login boxes. Better then find a place for the login boxes, and shift everything else in a less major place.

In the old design I like the fact it's spacious, and also the category list stays on the left, even after you searched for something already..

Really nice work.. the new one look a lot better... would be nice to have a similar for my e107 system. Dunno how to make them yet.

yea not much of a difference, nice pick though that you included, makes it look a bit more fresh...
