Hi All.

Ok i have installd an auction script for all your domainers

I am working on the design at the moment and would like your comments and feedback. It is FREE at the moment to get your domains on until i have designed it so why not take advantage of my kindness

Thanks

I visited your site and signed-up. Haven't gotten to my email, just yet. I'll do that, soon.

Personally, I think it's great to have another option for listing Domains. But frankly, the site is going to need a lot of design work.

However, auction sites aren't usually all that pretty. But you can use some simple CSS formatting in one external .css file to take care of some things.

The first thing I would suggest is to stay away from serif fonts. They just plain look ugly on any site that isn't in an Olde English style.

I would also recomend getting a Trademark or Logo right away that will look professional, uplifting and identify your business. What you have there looks like a peice of clip art.

I would also organize the head menu a bit better.

And I would consider adding a side menu and squishing your text together more so that it looks better and is easier to read.

Those are the thoughts off the top of my head. I'm doing a few things now, but soon I'll check my email and revisit your site. Then I'll add some more suggestions.

Take care!

cheers for reply.

I will be tidying it up over days to come, just needed to get the scripts working first. as for logos etc and menus they are done ready but the scripting has to be right first.

thanks for feedback, much appreciated.

I tend to agree with SymbioticDesign a lot of design work is needed, but you're off to a good start.

I think most auction sites are very busy on page per page, wich might just leave some room for you to differentiate, if you can somehow thin out the pages and make the auction experience more enjoyable.

Definitely choose a few good colors for a consistent color scheme, ditch the serif fonts and make some nice graphic buttons and section headers.

Good Luck!

The site is definitely too plain - but you already knew that. My suggestion: Organize the main navigation at the top. Currently it is just a bunch of random links. Group them together by relevance and possibly label them. Similar to Yahoo's site.
