Website Review and Suggestions

Just finished developing an accommodation website
Sunrise studios in Chania Crete

I would be glad if anyone took a look and gave me their opinion,
I know it might have validation errors (I have not really checked) but for the time being I am not interested in being all that "valid"

First of all the site should look appealing to the prospective customers then anything else.

not to bad overall,

one thing i would change is the colour of the links at the top. pretty hard to see/read agaisnt the background.

and being picky , when some one clicks your link at the bottom make it open in a new window insteed of the same one.

I can see why you took all those "toned down" colors but for a holiday place I would add some brighter colors. At least the bottom pic on the right I think would look much better at bright daylight.
For me Greece is white and blue

it's certainly simple and relaxing. Plus I can see the images better on this one then the architecture design

Links hard to read in header, picture in header is kind of blah. I would switch the night photo of building on home page with the day picture of building on sevices page.

Ok, here is my opinion from someone who was the general manager of an upscale hotel for many years. The bed picture on the services page. Get some decorative pillows and put them on the head of the bed. Anything but white. Get a vase of colorful flowers and place them on the table next to bed and if possible hang a nice picture above bed. Take a picture and replace the current one.

Do you have a logo?

I like the backgound and like the photos on Chania.

@Daniella, I know white and blue is greece but something out of the ordinary is what we aimed for, (imagine if all sites about greece where white and blue !?) But I guess you understand I was trying to capture the colors of the sunrise ...

@Jacob, relaxing is something, that came later it was not in the picture when I was designing it, but I will take it as a complement. Relaxing vacation .... how is that for a sales pitch @katers ?

but this is NOT even a hotel, let alone upscale, I had limited resources (and money thrown at me for this project) so I was trying to do the best I could with what I had) the pictures are not taken by me, nor I was there when they were taken ... but if we revise it next year, I will have it in mind ...

yes I understand the concept of the sunrise I did not mean you should make a blue/white website. I only meant to change the pic on the bottom right into a daytime pic.
