I want to eat your site. The left side is a bit hard to read. But it's so delicious looking!@

Do you want the good or bad first?

The menu gives me a headache. The font is way too hard to read and needs to be more crisp looking.

The text on the home page under Hello Junkies, starts to be the same way as the menu. Also, a little confused as to how you order or if you even can.

Great colors, nice retro feel to the site, a lot of information.

Excuse me while I go out and buy a snickers.

Other than the fact that it makes me hungry, it's:
1. Graphics = 10
2. Nav = 8 (Lot's of links, not sure what some of them do)
3. UF = 7 (Took me a while to load, also some of the fonts were hard to read, but it goes nicely with site's theme)

I was completely overwhelmed when I visited the site. I had no idea where to go or what the heck i was looking at. It is waaaaay to busy in my opinion. I do like the graphics and colors, but its just too busy.

Ahh I like it.. it's a little out there... I don't know why they say the menu is hard to look at i find it rather ok to read. The website breaks the mould and does something different. Quick loading and very chocolatey..

In your image at the bottom... is that supposed to say 'staring' or 'starring' because it says 'staring'.

It looks delicious, but it is information overload. Put some of that content on secondary pages. It's like a maze trying to find all the information. I think I looked at it for several minutes before I ever saw the $1.75 each price in the middle of the page.

Personally, I would lose some of the people pictures, especially the guys at the top of the page. It's great to say a food is hand made but that doesn't mean we want to see someone juggling it. jmo.

I'd give it a 7/10 over all.

I think you have hit a very key thing in designing your site. Everyone is interested in your product, having said that you have a lot of unused space to your right, I would try to space things out in the middle so everything is not so cramped it would be easier to read. The “Hello Junkies” graphic looks good when you’re looking at it with your eyes zoomed out but when you try to zoom in to read it you get lost trying to read it. Your tab to the left is cramped as well (just a thought- you could make a similar tab to the right – it would put some good use to that unused space and would also make things less cramped on the left- just a thought) you want to make your key pages (aka the pages your selling your products) easy for the viewer to see and go to. All these things I said have been said to me many times before. I really do like your site – to me you have accomplished on of the most difficult things having people interested in your product right away by your graphics and the color scheme you choose. All this other stuff is easy to fix.

Thank you all so much, im planning to loose guys on top and move shopping links from right into white field there instead (wholesale, bulk, etc) parallel to the slogan (our only competition...) and loose it from left part. Let me know if you think that will be wrong.
Once again - thank you!

Hello! -

I liked the site - reminded me of a 1900's "visit the travelling show" type thing. The colours were fairly uniform, and tie in with the colours of the truffles, but perhaps just a little too much? Everything seemed to be "equal" without an initial focus, or a "hot today" type thing. I like the use of "The Warlitzer" type fonts/graphics - but agree it does make some words hard to read.

I found the store area difficult to navigate, and the blue links too incongruious with the rest of the site. I actually preferred the red background in the "who da" section - made the site appeal to me more.

Truffles look guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuud!
Cheers, Scotia

The site is cool and fun. My first impression was that the photography quality didn't hold up to the design quality. I see you're missing a lot of product photos so perhaps you are in the process of updating them. If you look on craigslist, you can easily find a professional food photographer for cheap or even free (in exchange for site credit). Overall, good job.

Great pictures. The truffle pics made me want to order

The color and font choices are hard to read

Lots of content is overwhelming

Good names for the links (no kids allowed), but they're hard to read.

Simplify the font and reorganize the content and it'll be yummy.
