Website Review and Suggestions

Hello to all,

please review the site www.desiyaar.com. It is a totally 100% free dating site, i have added a feature for free uploads, so people can promate themselves and tell the world all about the themselves and hopefully love at the same time.

The site itself in my view is huge, it has a few bugs which we are fixing but any feedback will be good. Internal messenger is being readied for the weekend. Popups pics are being sorted as I write this. I cant think of no other dating site that offers all these functions paid or free???

The model on the front will be on a random rotation, so at the moment we have the indian model, but this also show english, black, chinese etc...at some time in the future.

The internal match feature links up all sorts words, and took a hell of a long time and work to get functional. In my view it is advanced, and will be improved with over time.

Any feedback or suggestions I am all ears, and look forward to seeing any help u guys can offer me..

Just by the name I could tell its Indian. Is it just for Indians because thats how it seems without going to deeply into it. If you want expansion than make it broader.

Hi there! - Overall the site is pretty user friendly - although when you click the top links (home, about etc) you have to use the back button to move on, which if your using forms etc, will possibly result in the user having to start over again?

I like the overall colours, and the illustrations are cute and non-suggestive, which is great for a site like this one. It does seem Asian orientated until you perhaps click for the tour, (which is great if thats your market) - but as a white female, Id find it a little alienating, the same with the "meet your match" which kinda reads like various religions, rather than people?

I can see a lot of work has gone into it - so good luck!

Hey,

Thanks for the feedback, but i now the name has a asian theme to it, but the site was is meant to be universal. I.e we just dont want all asians if u get my drift, we want all nationalitys. The girl in the centre of the homepage will change soon, have noted the above points and will get round to them sometime in the future..

Any further points please let me know...

The site looks great. The logo looks great. But one of the things is that the background that goes up to the background in the logo does not matcht hebackground. And the logo seems like its low quality. Try resaving it at a higher quality.

Good job. For the fun of it, i did a search male looking for female, and just got a bunch of guys???

LOl...bug which is being fixed.....if girls search for guys they get loads of girls....will be corrected...NOW is there any girls here who want to join its all free

Hi,
This is good adds-on in dating community desiyaar.com. I like its color scheme and fetures.

One of the best thing that I found there real traffic whereas its starting time. Anyhow, overall this is good effort. No doubt it represnets or look asians community with its name, pictures and logos but regarding features it captures all communities.

Thanks for the comments, yep i too like the real time users bar on the side.. At present work on the dead links on homepage, but as u can see from the site it was a quite a massive task. ANy further comments please feel free to update me..

Actually the site is constructed from scratch. We have just launched the chat totally incorpated with users from the site. In my view it is stunning, a lot of work but it is up, We used a 3rd party script and customized that for the site. All coments are appreciated.
