Hello! -

On first glance I would think this was an advert for an old arcade game, rather than a search engine, and the colours were too bold for me (but Im a neutrals kinda gal anyway). I have to admit though, I didnt find the interface easy to get around since my eye kept being drawn away, to different areas. The reason google works is because its very, very simple - and since they are the market leaders I suppose I would try to eumlate their success factor rather than try to perhaps re-invent the wheel.

It loaded quickly in IE & FireFox - with little or no degredation - although jumped around a little in Safari. If you are looking for this to be a search engine with more type thing - then Id stay away from a personals bit - although a simple offsite link would be better than an "area".

It needs less different colors, and more colors that match each other. Dont make it so dark then bright unless you have a transition from one color to another.

When i first had seen your url, i would have thought it to be Google, with a bigger custimization ability for the users.

Here's what I personally think. There are to many colors in a small space. You need to use a more thorough color scheme than just randomized colors placed around the site. Also, you need to spread the information you put on the pages around a little. It looks too jumbled up into one corner. Other than that, I don't know... Good luck with your site though.

Yeah, I don't like it either. The design is all over the place and not that attractive. I only browsed the site quickly, but I didn't find anything useful or any content that would make me want to either stay on your site or come back. I think you should use flash more sparingly, redesign your website, and get some useful content.

On the wallpaper page you have a dark blue background that fades into a light blue. The rollover affect on the link turns the link from white to black. Then you can't even see it.

I don't like the frames. I clicked to read the full article and it was squished into a tiny little frame and I couldn't read it.

The design is very 1990's. If I were you, i'd look at this article:

I tend to leave a web site, new program, paper, magazine, or whatever, when I start seeing celebrity gossip. I'm probably not your target market, but that's something that would drive me away.

I for one agree with Scotia, Google works because it's about as simple as any website can get without just being text. Too many strong colours, it looks like a flea market. Try to make them blend somehow. Anything that attracts attention in too many dirrections can get confusing. It's looks pretty old school and if it wasn't for the 2006 copyright i'd say it was 1991. Anyway, the way I see it you're just providing everything google and it's subsidiaries (i.e. YouTube) are providing. I see no reason why someone should visit Google Remixed rather than Google itself

Ack! If you click a new link, it's unreadable. I had to copy some of the text and do a search to find the news story and be able to read it in a bigger than 1 square inch frame.

Here's my advice...very simple: Re-Design the web page.

There are WAY too many colors, nothing really matches or goes well together. There is no flow or consistency to the page what so ever. I would just scrap it all and start over. Read some tutorials/information online about web design and try it again.

Google Remixed sounded like a jazzed up google.
But I saw a horror show with way outdated and outlandish visual disasters.

Leave Google alone. They got a good thing going.
