Hello. I'd love to know your thoughts on my site, www.troublefreepool.com . TFP is a forum based swimming pool and spa care website.

We now have a new banner so I thought this would be a good time to get some feedback.

The site will be 3 months old on the 27th of June.

Thanks,
Sean

The site looks nice, Sean. My biggest concern is the text is too large in the welcome area. I would use at most a 10 point font rather than 12.

Thanks. I hadn't really thought of that, but now that you mention it, it does seem a little large. I'll see how it looks with the smaller font.

It looks better but its a little overpowering with it being bolded. Did you see what it looked like unbolded?

Excellent work. To me, the site is "flashy" enough to get your attention but not too much to run a browser off the page.

Remember two things though:

-Customers will show you the way in your business
-Content, Content, Content

Keep us updated on the progress and good luck!

nice header ... hehehe .... he did a great job

the only problem on your site will be the center text its large. I think you needed to trim them down to just 12 size.

Hey Sean,

I'm probably a bit late in the review pool, but I complete agree- I really do like the overall look of the site. It's very inviting, clean, and just easy to read across the frontpage and the underlying forum.

This is probably what the others are talking about, when using the internet browser Internet Explorer, the text looks extremely fitting to the site. However in a different browser, Firefox, the text looks larger and relatively huge in comparison to the rest of the site's text. Although on this board, your probably going to get largely firefox users while the better portion of your website's visitors will probably be Internet Explorer.

But other than that, the site's great. The only other thing I would do is visit the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Forum on here and ask them what you can do to be more recognized on search engines. It's an underlying aspect of your site that will help the public find your site easier when searching for pool/spa related items.

Best of luck to you!

Like the images and the color scheme - the font on the horizontal nav at the top looks a little small tho

Thanks. I've been working some on SEO but we are lacking a key ingredient - time.

The site is just under 3 months old. We've grown really fast, but I think it will be a few more months before we can start showing up more prominantly on some of the relevant searches. I'm wondering how long it will take to get a google page rank.

Very nice design I like it. I would think colors are nice to but I am a fan of blue. I hope you best luck with it but domain is a bit long.
