Website Review and Suggestions

Ok before I start and get the people telling me my forum is crap etc etc please don't and note this.

Graphic design on this forum is poor I have just set this forum up graphic desing is being done slow and surly I don't want views on appearance as right now even I will say it is VERY POOR.

However reviews on the idea of the forum would be great and if you think the service will be helpful or not etc would be much appreciated.

Basically I wanted a forum where people can download open source software and for vbulletin hacks and mods and styles as well but can also download open source scripts CGI PHP and Web Templates but also have a place to chat about coding issues and sales and hosting issues etc like a webmasters forum.

There is also a products section for people to submit prenium mods that cost and support forums to give users support on them in the products section people can also sell other items anything and everything graphic home products etc.

Basically it is a forum about everything but keeps the vbulletin theme as well.

It is FREE to advertise on there 100% FREE to advertise web hosting service graphic design it is also free to add upload and download mods in the open source downloads area.

There is already live help software from myself on there free to download in the downloads section completely open source please have a look tell me what you think.

If you have a script you want to sell on there for profit as well or a web template or any service you can find it on there and advertise services and get freelancer jobs as well.

First off, you need a new skin, the mods which are added are good.
and the domain name is valuable!

My man main please do consider using a free vBulletin template in the meantime while you await your uniquely designed one.

Your site has a good idea but I think the forums need to be shrunk and then as activity grows perhaps expand it to what it is. This'll increase activity as users will see more posts in less forums, know what I mean?

I agree with King Justice in that (unless you're doing some major marketing) starting off with less forums might be a good idea. Most of the popular forum sites didn't start of with the amount of forums they have now.

I also think that a bit more focus could be put on CSS. With HTML, JavaScript and PHP having their own sections, I think CSS should get a mention, either in it's own forum or a sub-forum.
