Website Review and Suggestions

Can you please review the new design of my website: www.TemplatesFlow.com It's an online shot which sells website templates.

I need any opinion for future improvements.

P.S. Main differences between new and old design is: "Customers will be able not only to observe the screen shot of the template but watch the future site full size and try how it will be functioning – i.e. Live Demo. With the help of Drag-and-Drop system customer will make a purchase very easily – he just clicks on the template, drags it to the cart and drops it."

P.P.S. Now the first page is a Template storage, but I want to create the first page which will looks like a portal (News, Last added, Banners, Tutorials, Links, etc.)

I like it.. I did notice that your font size in the Choose By Category is way to small. Mouse over brings them closer but it makes it hard to point and click on the one you want without sliding the mouse up and down. Everything else looks excellent!

It looks great. The only thing I don't like is that when you mouse over a template, the pricing info is only shown at the bottom of the screen, but if you are pointing at one of the templates on the top of the page, you have to scroll back down to see the pricing for that template. The price should be under each template - imo.

Hi there,

Agree with everyone else, love the look and simplicity. Two things that bother me about it:

1) In this forum posting, you explain to us briefly how to use the site, but I don't see that on the front page. Visitors might not know what to do!!!

2) There is almost no text on the page. I know you don't really want to have a lot of text, but the problem is SEO. The search engines can't really index you very well. A possible way around this is to have a blog / forum, and use a sitemap, check out googles instructions for a sitemap by googling for it.

Your logo could be better. Consider getting a custom one designed for you.

Thanx for all your comments, I know almost about all of this problems. Maybe in a month we'll launch the main page of our site with Info, explanations, hotlinks etc.
About SEO & Sitemap, we will have a lot of content in Info part of our site, it's still under construction

What I like:

* I really like the four buttons in the upper-right of the website (Login, Storage, etc.) They look really cool to me for some reason. I don't often see button images with both hover and mouse-down effects.
* I like the way the templates zoom in when you click on them. It's probably not the first time it's been done, but it's still fun to use. I wish there was a way to make them a little bit larger though.
* The color scheme

What I don't like:

* Mixing of templates and logos in the display.
* The huge GO! button. It's very prominent, but I really don't think it is necessary. It is a nice-looking button though, just a little large.
* The logo. I just hope that logo is for July 4th only.
* Search. Searching for "blue template" gives me two results, both of them logos.
* The tiny text for "Choose by...". I know you can hover over and make it larger, but I'd personally prefer normal size with a vertical scroll bar.

Additional suggestions:

* Remove "Prev" and "Next" buttons when there are now previous or next pages.
* Make those Prev and Next button AJAX so that the entire page is not forced to reload.

..but I would change the logo and "go" boton, as other members say.
And maybe it might be better if you explain the site is what for.

frost your review is really good. I'll try to remove all disadvantages. I want my website to be Almost perfect because I don't know perfect websites.
P.S. logo is only for July 4.

i really like the colours and i loved the design. The way it zooms in is quite original so i liked that.
I think this one is going to stick with me for a while

Your site looks great. Good quality and easy to look at. Nice big letters to easily see. It catches the eye. All in all a great looking site

Nice design.
But your logo looks more simple than your navigation buttons.
Maybe you should reduce the size of a search fiels and GO button.
You have an interresting left menu, but choosing a definite submenu item is not very usable.
Green color on a selected submenu item looks out of whole menu style.
I like your center layout (resizable one) , but it is not obvious what to do with dragged picture.

Don't know if its just my connection I'm in nz but I am on adsl
the site loaded very slowly.

However when it loaded it was crisp and clear and easy to identify that it was a template providing site ; by this I mean I liked it didn't have any distracting ads.

I would look at increasing the font where you give the template description also having to look at th page while mousing over each template to see the description was a feature I'd look at changing.

It would also be good to have a way of getting potential visitors email addresses so you could follow up and increase your sales.

About getting potential visitors email addresses, soon we will launch the free section, where everyone will be able to download a free templates and logos, to get an access to this section you need to be a registered user...
