1) I like the color scheme. Easy on the eyes, but functional.

2) Work on your spelling and grammar. I'm not one to care much about those things, but when you're trying to sell or promote a service it pays (literally) to handle those things with due diligence.

3) I've never kept a diary so I don't know how appealing it will be to people in general, but it seems to me it would be so much simpler to write it out on pen and paper?

4) It failed validation.

5) You should use CSS instead of tables in my opinion.

I didn't create an account, but I looked around at what I could.

* I found the front page text a little hard to read because the colors were so similar.
* I really do care about spelling. Things like Diar, Sing in, and refferel probably would send me away from the site.
* The Google ads sometimes overlapped onto the content, covering part of it up in Firefox 1.5 (see Create Account and Contact Us).
* Other than that though, I like it.

Design wise it look pretty nice, though I don't like where you are placing ur adsense ads. The second one on top of your sign in should be place on the footer of your site.

IMO, the sign in should be on the left nav bar

The color combination and the background picture makes it a bit harder to read. A bit darker text will be good.

I am not sure how this is different from a password protected blog, which provides similar functionality.

Well it is quite different fron blogs as a matter of fact.
First its proper platform to write diary. Secondly what ever you write u can keep it private or public, you can also upload pictures for whatever you write. U had birthday party for instance you wrote passage and then u uploaded pictures for public or for just your self to save memories.

There will be soon other features u will see with in short time which blogs dnt provide.

hope that makes my point.

HI!
Good, i think its a good site in general. I would maybe like more different writing font and a different color scheme, don't know much about colors, but some rearrangement would be a refreshment. When signing into for new account i could only write big characters. This is confusing for me

Hi Joey,

Creating an online diary is indeed interesting. Here are some of my suggestions:

1) Please change the title of your home page. I noticed this error where Diary is spelled as "Diar". This is the first page where all your visitors will visit. A good impression will keep the interest of your visitors coming back to your site, needless to mention, they will want to tell their friend about it too.

2) Have you thought about the target group of your online diary? Personally, I find that the color is okay but a brighter color will light up the mood for people to write their thoughts and feelings of the day. Also, the font color (light brown) of your home page description does not really stand out due to the background color.

3) Do work on the spelling errors on your site. You wouldn't want to create any negative impressions by overlooking on such minor details, right :-)

All the best to you Joey!

Good site in general. The color is ok but can be more attractive. However, the grid effect of the left menu is a turn off. Also do not place ad sense on the center. But I really like your idea.
