Website Review and Suggestions

Hey all, took the advice of people here and redesigned my site to make it more simpel and useful as a homepage...let me know if you think is better!Cheers!

Some things to think about.

Title Tags
Under the Music section, Itunes is not correctly aligned with the others in my browser (Firefox 2)
The flashing arrow is pretty dam ugly and is covering content.
Choose more appropriate colors, I mean seriously, all write background with a Google search box that is black with the form write.
Think about if having Google in the domain is a copy write violation.

i think they might try but i doubt they could really because google is a proper word... Google is like a HUGE number thing like mllion... billion.. trillion... something something google...

sounds stupid but true... i think i never counted that high...

For the fonts it would be nice if you decrease the size and the flash logo can have different background.

It's a little bit better but I still don't like it. There's no new content and there's no reason why anybody would go to your site, let alone "make it their homepage" like you put links to everywhere. Just a few things I saw-

A couple things on your "Why Remixed?" page are false. Of course there's an easy link to GMAIL on the real Google- the real Google MADE it. Also, if you set up your iGoogle home page, there are news feeds, sports, etc. as you customize it.

I don't see any reason why somebody would go to Google Remixed instead of either Google or whatever site they're trying to get to because you don't offer any new content yourself- all you do is provide a link to somebody else's content. If you're really intent on making a portal or something like that, spend LOTS of time learning web design or hire a web designer and come up with atleast some original content. Sorry, I don't mean to sound too harsh, but I don't think this site is near ready yet.

@dansgalaxy: I read somewhere that the real word for that really big number is "googol" or something and Google just respelled it to make it a cool business name. So I'm pretty sure "google" isn't a real word itselft... But I'm not a lawyer (or anything close) so I have no idea if Google Remixed is a copyright violation or not...

I think the header img is too dark and if you keep it like that you definitely do not need the dropped shadow

Your header image is very dark. Your site do not seem to offer anything original but only a link to other sites. So I think nobody would be interested to visit it.

Google remix hurts my eyes man! Google used to be pleasant, but this is opposite.

Try something good.... You have a very good name, think different. Don't use google. You will be fine.
