Website Review and Suggestions

I just launched a political forum and article posting website. I would appreciate any suggestions or comments.

Since I am new to this, I am also interested in the security of the site. Can anyone out there run some kind of check?

I really like your forum skin - the color combination are very nice. All you need to do now is promote your forum and you may need post attractive article related to your forum content. Well done and keep it up

I like the idea, but your postings don't really seem to represent the site's statement of allowing people to freely discuss. I mean, I am sure that people could freely discuss, but you may only attract people who agree with your postings. I know I wouldn't want to discuss politics on a website that clearly posts the oposite of my political leanings.

Headers like "Democrats turn tail and run" will attract Republicans but I doubt it will get you a widly diverse visitor base. In fact a lot of radioshows and websites don't mention politics in order to not isolate those who don't agree with them.

We want to convey to people that they are free to post their ideas and if anyone does not agree with a post - then a "discussion" should take place. What we are striving for is a place were people discuss their differences of opinions without criticizing or demeaning other members. If you have any other comments, you can also PM me.

Wow, great website. The layout is spectacular and looks very professional. I also like the choice of subject, and I'm sure you could easily attract a large amount of visitors with a bit of hard work and original content. I'll certainly be checking this site more often, and I look forward to watching it progress.

What i mean is the usual forums that we always use. the default style..

Hi there - actually, you can always switch back to the default style by picking it on the bottom left. We figured we would give people the choice. Thnx again !!

The logo is great. The navigation looks like a 1990s version of "web 2.0" It needs help for sure. I'd just do away w/ the buttons completely and use the text on the bar behind them. It would look much more professional.

Good logo and layout but too much blue in there. Use some different color combination. Also everything appears foggy and gives a gloomy effect. Your idea is great though.
