Website Review and Suggestions

I am going to go ahead and ask you for a feedback on our service http://www.newstin.com

imho we need redesign and my concerns are following

1) layout and design, color scheme, what u think?
2) ease of use (navigation), searching, customizing news
3) usability of cross-language features.

You know I really do actually like this site. I go to many of these news sites all the time and it's good to have them in one spot. But this does pretty much the same thing as RSS does. Puts everything into one.
One suggestion. You see all the big sites out? Myspace, Facebook, etc. They offer some sort of user-base communication. Get commenting features into place. Maybe make a forum, allow people to make "News Channels" where they manage their own news. Not sure if that's something you'd really want to do but it shows you need to add something to make people want to come to it instead of the actual news sites or use their RSS feeds.
Make colors more contradictory. The text in your banner is something you really don't notice until you're there for a minute.
Use adbrite for advertising. You'll end up making a lot more. Or any other service where users don't actually have to click on the link. You'll be making a lot more. Trust me.

I agree. A forum here wold be nice. 8/10

Navigation will change for sure... how about color scheme?

btw... Mattmaul this service is actually much more than RSS parsing, we got huge team that is taking care of articles and backend. The news channels thing already exists its called My Newstin.
