i checked directoryseed.com .
the top header seems incomplete .
also i am not sure the violet color matches with the rest .
the top part and middle part seems two different design styles .

http://www.directoryseed.com/ - The top navigation is messed up it needs sorting out as all the links need to be on the same line

http://www.directorypeek.com/ - This site is alot better tho I do not like the logo but the rest of the site is very nice

http://www.huladirectory.com/ - Personally I dont like this site it may appeal to some people but I cant really review a site I hate sorry on this one

DIRECTORYSEED.COM REVIEW

Okay, lets be picky.

The tabs along the top right, nice backgrounds, gross font. Change it to Arial, Trebuchet MS or something. Try to avoid using images for text. It is not good for text readers for blind people. Your logo is a little basic, maybe an icon or something? You need to squish it down, it is too stretched inwards. The green search button does not fit in and should be left to the default style (if you were using XP, it would look like an XP button in IE). I think your title should be more interesting. You NEED to change the font from Microsoft Sans Serif to something ALOT more friendly. It looks oldstyle Windows 98! The gradients and nice but in general I would say this needs work.
