tarponkeith: the way around that may be a CAPTCHA of some sort, although I don't know of any with ASP. You might have to write your own.
The other option may be to use regular expressions and have a database to store the obvious bad words: viagra, cialis, viagralistermine, etc.
I'm with others as far as allowing for free submissions. I've always had a problem with paid directories since they create a financial bias against those who can't afford to pay for directory submission (or who have sites that don't fit the paid directory model, such as personal sites). It's fine if it's an add-on and you still allow free links, but not as a standalone model.
I tend to agree with seowebdesigner...sort of. The green is fine in the logo, since it's an accent colour there, but as the body of a page it's a little much. I don't think you need to darken it, though...go the other way with it and make it an almost white colour (something along the lines of #F0FFF0).
