As bad as the code is, and it's pretty bad...that's not even the biggest problem with this site, and this is one of the few cases I will say this.
What could possibly be so bad that it would be worse than the code in the eyes of someone as anal as I am about coding?
The idea.
Brian, you're going down a path millions have gone down and failed, and a path that millions more will go down...and fail too.
What's the path?
Affiliate marketing under the guise of "deals".
The idea didn't work in 1998, and it won't work now. If people want to find deals on Amazon, they can do that. If they want to find them on Newegg, they can do that. If they want a search engine for the shopping experience, Froogle does that in an unbiased manner.
Do something useful, original, and unbiased, and then your code issues can be the primary issue, not the secondary one.
