Looks good. I think you'll need some pagerank before most people will consider swapping links with you. You might want to remove the reciprical requirement for a little while and just build up links?

I have a directory as well www.newmexicodirect.net and am trying to do similar things, so let me know if people are actually adding links.

I like http://www.directoryspeed.com the best.

I like the clean look and really easy to navigate. One suggestion to really make this site stick out would be to change the header image to a very bright cloud stock photo. I think it’s a little too washed out as it is.

i like http://www.directoryspeed.com/ layout is nice aslo try to make ur logo height quite smaller or change logo font style.

And u should follow mwookie advice.

Directoryspeed looks good, but it's very image heavy. You could try using some text on top of a background image somewhere? It's much better for SEO and accessibility.

I'm using 2MB broadband and it took me nearly 20 seconds for Firefox to get the connection and load the page. I think you need to try and improve speed somehow if possible (the images weren't my main concern but they must have added to the page loading time too)

i prefer 1 the first directoy: keepdirectory.com

the other one looks good to but i think that the width of the columns on the frontpage is to big, better smaller cols and the table centered in the middle of the page

http://www.keepdirectory.com loaded very slowly for me and I'm on 5mg high speed broadband, but otherwise the look was very nice. It breaks away a bit from the usual directories which hopefully will help it stand out among the rest. Good luck with these!
