I own a South Florida Entertainment directory that gets 750-1500 uni a day. I stopped putting out ads about three months ago and still get great traffic. I was at 4 million hits a month but now its about 1.5 million. With a good webmaster and sales person you can make some great income selling ad space, affiliate programs and google.
I make two grand a month for posting events on my home page from clients and a few hundred a month from google and affiliate programs.
