hello everyone
I am looking at buying a website an need advice(I hope I am in the right area to post this) any advice is appreciated!!
the website in question is for sale on ebay( I know ebay is known for junk) but this one caught my eye.. I need to know if its a mistake or a great buy?here is the site in question

here are my concerns...................
1. he has "0" feedback!
2. he is in Denmark( not local for assistance)
3.he dropped the price to 1800.00 usd after intense negotiation
4.if i had a great site I in no way would drop nearly 75% in my asking price!

on the positive side
1. he was very pleasant and took alot of time going over everything
2. he allowed me access to his paypal account
3. he receives approx 700/mo in sales
4. spends 150 /mo google to advertise it.
5. I do not feel I can get a site built like that for 1800.00 or could I?

With all this being said,am I missing something here?? I know he has a pr of 2 and few if any links, so it"s not well optimized, but for 1800.00 I in a way feel its not a bad deal?? or is it?
I realize this is not a expensive site but... who wants to toss out $1800.00 dollars?
could I do better having someone here make me a site? is there something fishy about this website? or is it a good deal? I know you folks here are very experienced and can help ,or even refer me to someone to build me a website. I am really looking for a easily ran site, not adult related ,and one that wont take too much time to run since I have a day job.This site seemed to fit what I am looking for and it is in my budget........any ideas????

Not worth that

You could easily find a script to do this for that price!
Freelance work would do this for half the price

His PR is a 2

and not even top 10 on google

For that price you could get a nice site/script made , and SEO'd so you could rank high

Just my opinion but hey if you want to invest the site does profit any site does if you use google advertising and actually spend money.

It's got a small fanbase and a PR2. But that's about it. The sort of template layout that's going on there you could probably get for under 1800USD. You just wouldn't have the rest of it, profit margins and alike.

It's your call really. Start from scratch or buy that one. Afterall, if it's not a success you can always sell it on.

O and one other note why buy from ebay, go somewhere that will make u or sell a script like his edit it yourself

Heh the power of saving money people wont mind there phones being unlocked slowly as long as its cheap!

But a script to do this auto would be great if one for windows is £7.50 im sure you could get a php script for around the same price Google something like "mobile phone unlock php script"

$5000 for that isnt worth it, the template isnt that good and I doubt the back end is. As mentioned the money could go a long long way to a professional site doing whatever you please. It sounds like your just after a get rich quick scheme witht this site.

Ask your self why would he drop the site price by 75%?
Alexa Ranking of nearly 5mil: That is bad equals about no page views and hes saying he gets 3000 uniques a month. Can he prove the traffic
Also willing to show you his paypal account not good, part of the con? no doubt.
