Websites For Sale

I didn't realize people bought and sold websites like this so often. It seems like if you bought enough you could make some serious money. I don't really understand the process though. These sites make money off of ad revenue correct? Do you get paid per click, and is that just deposited in your paypal at the end of every month? I've been doing websites and such for a couple years now as a hobby, so I could manage one of these sites fairly easily. How difficult do you think it'd be for me to get into this? How profitable?

Important factors in a sites value are mainly revenue and traffic, but other smaller factors such as design, members, content, search engine rankings, etc. also affect the value of a site. It doesn't matter what you use to generate revenue, whether its using Google Adsense for PPC or using Adbrite and selling monthly text links or using an amazon affiliate account and selling things.

There are many people who make a living off selling and buying websites. It is kind of likre the realestate business except the turnaround time is much faster. You can flip a website in a few months. The most important rule I think is that you only buy websites you can relate to, and you identify at least 3 areas of improvementbfore you buy. I have been following this business for a while now as you can see from my website and it has great potential for big money.
