About this site
This site has been around since 2004, it started out just as an Acapella and Instrumetal site, but has evolved into a full music site. DJ's/Producers/MCs/Writers and Graphic Artists post up their work for members to comment on it, we have a custom coded point system in place to ensure that members do this, if they want feedback on their own work.

On a recent (and ongoing) survey, we can say that we reach a wide audience of males:
-from 13 year olds to 40 year olds
-95% is male visitors
-(almost) 80% of visits are from the Americas
-(almost) 20% of visits are from Europe
-(over) 40% of visitors are Black race
-(over) 35% of visitors are White race

That's our audience statistics out of the way. Onto some other stats. We get almost 12,500 Absolute Unique Visitors/month, almost 300,000 pageviews/month, and over 30,000 visits/month.

There are 30-40 new registrations daily, and currently just over 16,000 members.

Revenue
A couple of years back when I had AdSense running on the site I used to make $300/month, but I got banned from AdSense, I am not sur eif that site was banned because I had the AdSense running on other sites. I now make about $50/month with Direct Media Exchange, about $10/month with AdBrite - I used to make about $65/month but they started serving HiJacking Brower Ads so I removed them and I don't use them as my main ad provider now, about $20/month with Kontera. 4 days ago I added AuctionAds but haven't made anything with them, there has been 293 Clicks on the ads, so it has potential to be a great earning site, but I haven't monentised it properly (or know how to).

There is a donations box as well, we receive a few donations, but nothing spectacular.

Why am I thinking of selling this site?
Basicly because it's not generating enough revenue to pay for the server bills. It is on a dedicated server.

It should be fine to run on a server with other sites, but not a crowded shared server.

Vision Scripts Hide Hack Advanced
Custom Points System (coded by me)
A lot of hacks/mods

If I do sell this site I would like to remain playing an active part in the running of the site, because it is a community and I don't want the members to feel like I have cheated them in anyway.

Recently I have added a file host, image host, myspace resource, ringtones/wallpapers/logos e.t.c, web messenger sites to try and generate more revenue, they can be removed or kept as you wish.

Well to be honest, you have said more bad things about the site then good, like banned from google and not making enough revenue to cover costs.

If you remember you already sent me a reply with your sites link, but you didn't answer my question about a price you might be thinking of, I'm not going to insult you with an offer, unless I'm nearly on the mark, by all means send me back a PM with a price and I'll make an offer or explain why not.

I didn't say the site is banned from Google, there is a possibility it is banned from adsense, I have been getting AdSense Ads on this site from CPM networks, so I think that shows a good sign that it is not banned because I don't think the ads would show, if it was.

I am an honest person, I could have said the site is making this that and the next thing - which it could be doing if it had someone who knew how to monetize it properly - and there may have been a possibility that people would believe me, because the traffic stats (and the CTR on AuctionAds, YPN ads could possibly be placed where they are and most likely get the same CTR) are good I believe.

In the PM I'm sure I said I didn't really have a price in mind, it is the first site that I am selling and didn't want to scare people away with an over valuation.

On DigitalPoint, I have been receiving offers of the lower $X,XXX's but no exact figures as of yet.

The reason I said "this is looking less likely to be sold", is because I have been contacted by someone (I'll say for now), for a sponsorship deal, I am just waiting to here what they have to put on the table so to speak, if I'm happy with it then I won't be selling

To be perfectly honest, selling the site is a worse case scenario, I would rather sell it to someone to keep it online than shut it down for my members' sake.

I did receive an interesting offer of Co-Work from a member here, which I will be considering if the sponsorship deal falls through,

however, having said all that, I am still interested in hearing any offers,

As far as I'm aware google still own and run adsense and google adsense ads will show with or without your pub-number, in the codes, getting paid is the problem if the site is flagged, but thats not important.

I think I picked you up wrong when you said " this is looking less likely to be sold, but I would still like offers... " but now you have explained things a bit better and I apologize, if you thought my comments where outa line, I was just trying to explain, you didn't give a price.

Hi Marty,

Yes, I know Google own AdSense, but being banned from Google and being banned from AdSense are different things

, I wasn't sure if the AdSense Ads would show if this site had been banned, with or without any pub-number, when my account was banned the ads stopped showing on this site as well as others, but as I said in the original post I am unsure as to whether it was this site that caused me to be banned or not as I had the ads on my various other sites. But as you said that doesn't really matter.

I didn't think your comments where out of line, in fact, I am glad someone said something as you did, because it allowed me to explain a few things
