yes really i never thought about that... i think Yahoo is also depend on Google. Google is the "Boss" of all search engines.

When I was using them as a webhost for one of my sites, I was getting a lot more Yahoo traffic for keywords I didn't even rank for on Google.. strange

well, I really wish someone can tell on how this Search algorithm really works to make everything easier, but then again, if everyone knew it, there wouldn't be any quality sites in the SERP of the SEs. well, we just have to research on how people do stuffs to get good SERP and try it all out ourselves. this is what I got so far for yahoo
- Mobile Site Submission
- Podcast Submission
- Product Submission
- Yahoo Directory Submission
- Media RSS Feeds
- Yahoo Answers

The best way to find out, is to use your browser and navigate to Yahoo's home page, and find their careers link.

I don't think Yahoo and even Google and MSN will share their algorithm in ranking a keyword. It's a secret and if they reveal it, maybe other small SE site will also copy their strategy.

i don't think anyone here's know the algorithm of yahoo..anyway if you want to improve your rank in yahoo..quality content and inbound links are some of the factors why almost sites rank in yahoo.

I don't think anybody even bothered making efforts on figuring it out since google is the se that many uses.
