You can try any search engine for marketing, all the search engines will help, you need to work on search engine optimization techniques to get desired results, i use Google and Yahoo both but i feel sincerely that Google gives me lot of traffic than any other. Thanks

You can try whatever se you like, but since yahoo search is acquired by bing, and, the big G leads the se industry, I do not think you will gain much from yahoo.

BTW, how are doing with the big G?

Anamaria- Since you have Google knowledge already you probably know the benefits of listing your business on local directories. I have had some postitive results from listing in the Local Yahoo directory, as well as Google and Bing. If you have not already done so here is the link: http://listings.local.yahoo.com/

Wait, I got confused there. I though Yahoo will be overrun now by Bing. Am I right or wrong? Got confused on that.

You can optimize your website in yahoo anytime. IMO, you need to reach your goal in Google first before optimizing your websites in other SE.

i use Google and Yahoo both but i feel that Google gives me lot of traffic than any other. But of course that is not mandatory, you cant try yahoo as well.

Last time I checked, Google had 2/3 of global search engine traffic.
So unless you are operating in a specific geographic space like
Korea or China where different market share applies, Google should
be the search engine you focus on.

But even that kind of misses the point.
Good SEO techniques are going to apply across the board
anyway.
