Yahoo have recently released their New spider bot on the internet which may mean some of you have seen incresed slurp activity as they were testing it along side the old slurp bot.
According to the yahoo blog the new bot will spider faster and more efficiently, So over time we we see a decrease in slurp acivity as the new bot crawls, though this shouldn't result in a loss of content coverage.
