hi,
I have changed most of my url's on my website

and want google to pick up my new ones. i have tried deleting them but they still remain in the system. any guidance or info on redirecting new url's would be appreciated.
Does anyone else have this problem.

Jane redirecting is a good idea. Google will eventually figure out the old pages are no longer there and they'll get dropped from the index, but it could take a few months.

Better to do the redirect anyway since you'll keep the benefit of any incoming links to the old pages.

You want to do what's called a 301 (or permanent) redirect. How you do it depends on the type of server you have.

I wrote a post awhile back on 301 redirects and there are links in the post to other sources that can help you set them up.
